Fireworks connecting the heavens and the earth
An encounter between eternity and the fleeting moment
Let us not forget this summer of ours
My body, chilled in a place where I didn’t quite belong
Released into the heat of the crowd, drifting with the flow
Come to think of it, I’ve come a long way
Life is over before you know it, isn’t it?
And youth passes in the blink of an eye
Tonight, we are all pioneers—taking the lead
Everyone in their own unique attire
Makeup adorning lives lived with abandon
Let us not hide it—we are summer itself
My heart, feeling down for some reason
Wandering through the crowd, drifting with the flow
Come to think of it, I’ve come a long way
Eternity is a cold, unfeeling concept
A fleeting moment is better, don’t you think?
The banquet is in full swing; the real show begins now
Everyone choosing freely, looking in every direction
The scent of fierce lives burning bright
Let us not be afraid—we are summer itself
What shall I do with the prime of my womanhood?
There’s nowhere for it to go as it is
In full bloom, in full color—at the very peak
Like a massive, weeping willow
A lifetime’s memories flash back like a spinning lantern
Let us not let this summer slip away
What shall I do with the prime of my womanhood?
It can’t end just yet
In full bloom, in full color—at the very peak
