Your story is just beginning
The road stretches on for a long, long way
When the rainbow-colored rain pours down
The sky swells with excitement
Deep within that dazzling smile
There is a sound of sadness
We draw close, and in this moment
You are so incredibly dear to me
How warm it feels to hold hands
How being hateful leaves you all alone
Each and every moment shapes who you are
The road stretches on
Seeds of hope carried by the wind
Light turns dreams into budding flowers
Rather than closing your eyes
To count the things you’ve lost
Counting the things you have
Makes your eyes begin to shine
When you smile, someone else smiles too
Overcoming obstacles makes you stronger
Each and every moment shapes who you are
The road stretches on
La la la la la la la la la…
Your story is just beginning
The road stretches on for a long, long way
When the rainbow-colored rain pours down
The sky swells with excitement
