I’ve boarded a train all alone
To go and see his mom
Glancing sideways at the passing cityscape
And the flow of traffic as I leave them behind
He must be realizing it by now
The message in rouge left in the bathroom
“Unless you give up that fling of yours
You aren’t coming home”
Leaving my anxiety behind
The city fades away with a “Ding-Dong”
Tomorrow morning, I’ll have Mom call
And give you a scolding, My Darling!
He must be in a panic by now
The message in rouge left in the bathroom
I wonder if he’s asking every friend he knows
Where I’ve gone
Leaving my anxiety behind
The city fades away with a “Ding-Dong”
Tomorrow morning, I’ll have Mom call
And give you a scolding, My Darling!
And give you a scolding, My Darling!
