Tear apart the memories of days long past with your own hands
Put an end to the very breath of this sorrow
Come now—pierce this heart that yearns for love
Gazing at the sky where tomorrow is meant to dawn, I struggle with a heart that knows only hesitation
A bird beside me took flight; I wonder if it found a light somewhere
Say, won’t you let me ride upon your back?
And leave me behind at the highest point, far away from kindness
Tear apart the memories of days long past with your own hands
Put an end to the very breath of this sorrow
Come now—pierce this heart that yearns for love
I watched the bird disappear into the twilight; the wind caresses me as I crawl along the ground
I won’t ask for wings; I only wish to become a leaf of *Melissa* dancing in the air
I’ve stood here motionless for so long now
But perhaps there is no answer—just as this wind has no destination
Lock it away with your own hands—you have no hesitation, do you?
Ensure it never opens again, even by mistake
Come now—let the sound of the falling lock bring it all to an end
A soul beyond salvation drifts away and vanishes
Shining faintly in the moment it fades
Now, it gives birth to a night where the moon waxes full
